Well...Here goes. I never thought of myself of as a great writer. A good teacher, a passionate health educator, a great mom of 3, but a blogger no way.
I just know I have ALOT to share. So blogging seemed logical. For business but also for sharing what I do in my daily life with my family. I began a long time ago taking pictures of some things we were cooking, eating ect. at home and began posting them to facebook. People wanted to know more and what I was feeding my kids and what are chia seeds and what do they do. So here I am.
I have 2 yr old twins and a 6 yr old who just started kindergarten, yikes! I also have Sunlife Wellness (my fourth child) a fitness, nutrition, personal training small business. I've had quite a bit of natural health & nutrition training, beyond a four year degree. I'll elaborate more as this blog get's rolling. Part of this blog is to describe and bring attention to what I'm doing at Sunlife and at home or in the community.
Most importantly I will give my 2 cents on nutrition, family and fitness. I have some opinions on natural health, current health care practices, food policy and all that other good stuff. Most importantly I want busy families to get some guidance on implementing these practices into your life, and to never sacrifice on good nutrition and healthy, clean living., it is just too inportant! That is what I stand for. Child obesity has to be tackled and TACKLED HARD! Women and children's health a priority. From breastfeeding to school lunches and all in between.
I will add my pictures and what we do and eat as a family and a business. I warn you, I am not a good cook, nor do I LOVE it, I just don't. My husband is very good and he enjoys it. I on the other hand do it out of neccessity, You have to cook or at least prepare food in order to provide great nutrition for your family, but I do have some suggestions and shortcuts...keep with me, sign up for posts, my goal is to update weekly with new information and topics. I would love for you to join me. You may learn a thing or two!
Live well. Be well.
Amy
